1.                Onset بداية، مستهلّ
n. the beginning or early stages
At the onset of her career as a lawyer, things were looking up.
2.              Opine يرتئي، يعبر عن رأيه
v. to openly express an opinion
The new employee opined at the company meeting.
3.              Ornate مزخرف، مُزركش
adj. highly detailed and decorated
That ornate silverware must be worth thousands of dollars!
4.             Oust يطرد، يعزل
v. to remove or force out of (usu. a position or office)
Sick and tired of putting up with his bad moods, the pirates ousted their captain.
5.              Paramount أكبر، أكثر، أغظم
adj. predominant, superior, most important
Our paramount concern is the safety of our employees.
6.              Peculiar غريب الأطوار، شاذ، غير عادي
adj. strange, bizarre
Upon entering the abandoned house, Kate experienced a peculiar feeling, as if someone was watching her.
7.               Perish يفسد, يتعفن
v. to die; to pass away
According to the news, nobody perished in the fire.
8.             Persecute يضطهد  يضايق
v. to cause suffering to
They will persecute anyone who doesn’t agree with their views of the world.
9.              Petulant نكد، رديء الطبع، شكس
adj. cranky, pouty, irritable
Petulant children are especially difficult to care for.
10.        Pinnacle قمة
n. highest level or degree
Many believe that composers such as Beethoven and Mozart represent the pinnacle of classical music.

Wither , Weather , and Whither

Wither = (v.) become dry and shriveled = يذبل = يفقد الحيوية = يُذبل شيئًا، يُذوي شيئًا 
Weather = (n.) climate = الطقس

Whither = (adv.) to where, to what place or state = حيثما = أين؟ = إلى أين؟ 
Ex.  1-*Whither* will Jo go for lunch? 🍣🍲  2-The decision when and whither to attack the enemy would be crucial.  3-Whither is the cook?  4-Whither is the ship sailing?
